Green Technology
The 1.1 million dollar facility uses "Green Technology" which will reduce our cost to operate and is helpful to the environment.
  • Coolerado Cooler Air Conditioner system which uses 1/8 the energy of traditional systems. 100% fresh air is circulated continuously to provide a germ free environment for the children. Water from the Coolerado Cooler Air Conditioning System and rainwater from the rain-gutters are captured in a cistern to be used to irrigate the desertscape vegetation.
  • Skylights will reduce electricity during daylight hours. Light sensing dimmer ballasts are installed on florescent fixtures to reduce electricity cost during daylight hours.
  • Artificial grass in the courtyards eliminated the need to water.
  • Radiant heated floors with propane fired boiler provide a constant temperature in winter months. Shaded porches to shadow the building on the east and west with minimal south facing windows. R25 Wall insulation, R38 Ceiling insulation, and Low E double pane Windows.
  • LDL wall studs and TYI roof joist used which reduce the number of trees to be harvested and eliminates lumber waste.
  • Low flow toilets and faucets.

The center will provide child care for approximately 100 children from infant to five years of age. Age appropriate furniture, toys, equipment, lockers and nap cots, in each class area.

With our Noah's Ark Theme, rooms follow this animal theme which reflect the promise of Noah's Ark and intended to reflect the blessings of God's Creation, God's Promise and Christ's Fulfillment.

Security
Each room has a camera which records all activity and stores for several days. Our enclosed playground has low climbing toys and equipment and is partially shaded. A fire alarm system is provided to inform the fire department of fire or smoke.

The Office area is set up with networked computers and printers. ProCare management software is used to gather; child and family information, accounting, employee information, and attendance tracker. The ProCare Time Clock keeps a precise record of check in and out times for children and employees as well as improving center security. Kitchen facilities give space to prepare lunches for the children.
